"Crown of Thorns"

This vintage chalkware bust was a 'prickly' medium to alter from traditional Christ to Day of the Dead Christ. More than once I pricked my fingers on the crown of thorns. It's difficult to see in these photograhs, but the thorns on this bust are as sharp as the real thing!
