"Omnium Gatherum"                                                    ~ NFS ~

This painting is a series of five individual acrylic &  India ink panels affixed to one large 'host' canvas. I call it a host because Omnium Gatherum (A Gathering of Everything) is full of cells, parasites, and bacteria! The panel in the upper right corner is an African Green Monkey kidney cell; the panel directly below is a bacteriophage attacking a cell; in the upper left corner are human heart muscle cells and and red blood cells, and directly below is a Cryptosporidium bacteria (avoid this one!). In the center is the All Seeing Eye. This painting was a blast to create and proves the adage that there are no colors we can imagine that aren't already extant in nature.
